haha, I am obsessive

This morning I bought a first response early result pregnancy test, and I'll take it tomorrow, at 11 DPO. This whole trying to get pregnant thing is going to get mighty expensive if I remain this obsessive. Then again, I'm the girl who spent the extra $14 to get her SAT scores via the phone a week earlier than mailed...and I think pregnancy is a bit more important than my SAT score!

Well, the test this morning yielded a very very very faint line, but it was not pink - the hubby thinks that it's just "the reflection of the flourescent detectors that turn pink if it is positive" Whatever, nerd. Anyway, I'm not testing again until Tuesday, but no period yet so that's a good sign - plus a steady temperature this morning.

I'm guessing that I predicted my ovulation wrong. Originally I thought it was on Day 14 due to the stepwise increase afterwards, but Fertility Friend puts it on Day 18. So, that means testing on Tuesday is a good plan. More waiting and watching!

CD 26

Well, here we are at CD 26. Last cycle was 26 days long. I'm pretty sure I o'd on the same day this time as last. Tomorrow, that means, I'd get my period. Tomorrow morning, I take the test, if my temperature doesn't drop.

*baby dust to me!*

No AF yet, and my temperature jumped back up after yesterday's anomaly.

We shall see.

So, I'm currently on CD 24, and this morning I woke up to a huge drop in temperature...which I posted to [info]making_babies here.

I guess I'm not terribly stressed about it. No AF, yet. Hubby and I also calculated our EDD if I do get pregnant this cycle, and it'll mean that we miss a summer family vacation (flying at 35 weeks? I don't think so). So, it won't be the end of the world if we don't conceive right now.

Still, it'd be nice to conceive our first month trying! :-P
